The Medical Foster Home (MFH) Program Coordinator is a senior social worker who is assigned to the Geriatrics and Extended Care (GEC) service line under the Medical Foster Home program at the Alaska VA Healthcare System. The incumbent is responsible for the Medical Foster Home Program including: program development, recruitment of foster homes, recruitment/admission of veteran residents, case management, and coordination with HBPC interdisciplinary treatment teams.
