Summary:
Provides direct and indirect patient care to implement treatment programs under direction of an Occupational Therapist in response to physician referrals and in accordance with a plan of care jointly developed. The scope of practice includes training in the following areas: activities of daily living, functional mobility, upper extremity restoration and splinting, cognitive and perceptual, family and patient education, psychological (both individual and in group setting).

Ability to participate in patient transfers, activities of daily living, and other functional mobility tasks.
