Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-time Behavioral Health Clinician to work in the Behavioral Health Department at Newton Medical Center.
Responsibilities
Grant funded position in Pediatric Psychiatry Collaborative Hub.
Clinician responsible for completing telephonic assessment of patients ages 3-21 years old from pediatricians who suspect behavioral health concerns.
Clinician will triage cases for psychiatric evaluation and consultation with psychiatrist and assist with providing recommendations and education on behavioral health issues for parents and staff members of the referring pediatric practice.
Provide integrated care management between the pediatrician, child, psychiatrist, parents and community mental health agencies.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Master's degree in Behavioral Health related field
License/Certifications:
LSW required
LCSW or LPC preferred
Relevant Experience:
1+ year experience with child and adolescent population
Experience in outpatient clinic setting preferred
Spanish speaking a plus
