Northeast Washington Alliance Counseling Services (NEWACS) seeks a compassionate, full-time Youth Mental Health Counselor for its clinic in scenic Chewelah, Washington. In this role you'll work directly with children ages 5 to 20 years old. The Youth Mental Health Counselor conducts assessments, provides individual and family treatment, responds to crisis situations, and develops, implements and oversees treatment plans along with other duties. Our patients have intensive and complex mental health needs. The ideal candidate will utilize the Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe) program in their practice. - Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Washington State license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of Washington Department of Health
- Compensation is between $75,300 to $95,400 per year
- The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.

NorthEast Washington Alliance Counseling Services (NEWACS) provides outpatient behavioral health services from five rural locations in Eastern Washington, serving a largely Medicaid population of all ages in beautiful Stevens County. These clinics provide services ranging from individual and group therapy to substance abuse assessments and treatment. Its mental health program takes a recovery-oriented approach to alleviate symptoms and restore emotional, cognitive, behavioral and social well-being.

NorthEast Washington Alliance Counseling Services (NEWACS) is a Stevens County government department providing behavioral health care and other human services for Stevens, Lincoln and Ferry counties in northeast Washington. With a workforce of over 130 employees, NEWACS provides mental health, substance-use disorder and employment services to this rural region. NEWACS offers these services to the community through outpatient centers as well as a 16-bed inpatient adult mental health evaluation and treatment facility in Colville, Washington.
