Radiology Technologist
The Mammography "Radiology" Technologist, under the direction of the Radiologist, performs various radiology services including diagnostic imaging, mammography and bone densitometry. Assists in the performance of stereotactic biopsies, fine needle aspirations, and localizations. May be required to perform QA/QC testing as prescribed by the ACR, FDA, or state inspecting agencies. Assists radiologists as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs various diagnostic radiographic images, which may include mammography, and special procedures. Performs images as needed during OR procedures, including but not limited to, EP, Pain Management, etc. Follows precise procedures for exposure, positioning, and safety of patients.
