The Department of Veterans Affairs Houston Healthcare System is seeking a full-time Staff Psychologist position (40 hours/week; 80 hours/pay period) for the Alexandria VA Health Care System. The Staff Psychologist provides direct patient care, teaching/training services, and program evaluation/outcomes services. They effectively communicate with a wide range of other mental health providers, healthcare staff and facility leadership. The psychologist utilizes existing empirically supported assessment, evidence-based intervention, and consultation with patients experiencing a wide range of medical conditions but are not limited to the following: Provides a full range of therapeutic interventions including individual, group and family/couples psychotherapy
