The Social Work Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating one or more of the services, units or special programs at any of the sites of the NYHHS for the Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV). Incumbent has coordination and administrative responsibility for the quantity, quality and effectiveness of the services provided by staff assigned to their service or unit. In some instances the coordinator may also have supervisory responsibilities. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
