The Social Worker (PTSD) works for the Mental Health Service at the Beckley, VA Medical Center. The purpose of the Social Worker for PTSD is to plan and carry out the work processes involved in the assignment and identify the extent of the services, treatments, analysis, and evaluation necessary to provide high quality, comprehensive therapeutic services. The LPC duties may include but are not limited to the following: Develop working relationships with community agencies and other governmental agencies, often serving as the VA liaison or contact person; Contact with staff from other VHA Facilities, the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) office and the Central Office (VACO); Enter all veteran/family contacts in the electronic record using appropriate formats and templates; Use of
