The incumbent will provide clinical social work services to veterans in the primary care clinics. This position is located in Spokane Washington; Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, Montana; and/or Wenatchee specialty clinic program activities within the Medical Center and at the Community Based Outpatient Clinics. The incumbent provides direct patient care and professional services to an adult population of veterans. This position requires travel for a week at a time, sometimes 2-3 times a month. The social worker will participate in the screening of veterans for appropriate services/programs. This will include assessment of individual veteran's presenting problems, strengths, family support and availability of resources.
