This collocated, collaborative care social worker position is within the Mental Health Service Line. The social worker will provide services to the Veteran population who are enrolled at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) Mental Health Clinic. The social worker plays an integral member of the multidisciplinary team providing mental health services to patients meeting clinically indicated need. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
