The Senior Social Worker will report to the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program in Shreveport, La. Independently provides clinical psychosocial and case management services at an advanced practice level to eligible veterans and their family members. The specific objective of these services is to meet both the substance use disorder and mental health treatment needs of veterans residing in the hospital catchment area. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
