The Center for Addiction Treatment (CAT 5) social worker (MSW) assumes responsibility for the provision of substance abuse services to veterans who are admitted for substance abuse rehabilitation. Services will be given to Residential Rehabilitation patients and to selected outpatients. The CAT 5 social worker interviews patients/significant others and completes psychosocial assessments. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
