Lovell Federal Health Care Center has a jointly administered research program in conjunction with Hines VA. The two facilities share Research and Development Committees and Institutional Review Boards. The Lovell FHCC Assistant Chief Medical Executive for Research and Development (ACME R&D) reports to the Chief Medical Executive and the Hospital Director at FHCC and also has reporting responsibility to the Hines VA Associate Chief of Staff for Research and Development.
