Position Summary

** Inpatient Psych Unit**

This position provides individual and group age appropriate developmental and psychosocial supervision, support, and treatment consistent with established objectives, including crisis management, group facilitation, use of trauma informed care and use of behavioral management and modification procedures to facilitate achievement of desired treatment outcomes.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and work experience and/or education totaling two years in a behavioral health related field. (Required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Recreation Therapy, Sociology, or a field related to behavioral health. (Preferred)

Experience

• Pediatric experience. (Preferred)

Certifications

• Current fingerprint clearance card prior to employment date. (Required)
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. (Required)
• Current Crisis Prevention Intervention certification or obtained within 60 days of start date. (Required)

Special Skills

• At least twenty-one years of age. (Required)
