Marriage and Family Therapist (BHIP)
The Marriage and Family Therapist functions as a member of the VASNHS Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) team and provides outpatient mental health services to Veterans and their families. The Marriage and Family will create and carry out treatment plans based on the presenting problems. Presenting problems may include the entire spectrum of DSM 5 Diagnoses. Treatment will typically include approximately 12-15 45 minute sessions of evidence based treatment. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
